Blue reflective glass was made of superior blue float glass,with an aluminum film on the glass surface.
Reflective glass also called coated glass.Reflective glass is essentially ordinary float glass with one or more layers of metal, alloy or metal compound films on the glass surface to change the optical properties of the glass to cuts off solar heat. This special metallic coating also provides a one-way mirror effect, preventing visibility from the outside and thus preserving privacy. Reflective glass is used primarily for structural façade glazing.
The on-line coated reflective float glass is produced by using CVD technology (chemical vapor deposition) that creates a perfect uniform layer of metal oxide chemically bonded to the surface of the glass. As this hard chemical layer is fully bonded to the glass, the glass can be cut, bent, tempered, heat strengthened and laminated without affecting the coating.
